Stannary Hills is an Australian family owned farming business located 103 km west of Cairns
on
the northern edge of the Atherton Tablelands in a small township called
Mutchilba.Our nearest town centre is Mareeba, 34 km west of Cairns.
Our
family is the 4th generation of tableland farmers sustainably managing
our farm, with our three children often lending a hand. The farm has
been owned by the Godfrey family since July 1964 and has been certified
organic since 2000. When we eventually pass our farm on to the next
generation, should our children choose to continue the business, our
goal is for it to be in a healthier state than when we began.
We
run the family business on our 59.1 ha (150 acre) property and have
established the livestock paddocks, vegetable growing sites and
citrus
orchard along with a permanent water system. Also approximately 10 ha of
the farm has been dedicated to
tea tree oil production. We're always
