The tea tree was planted in 2017 and we have been excitedly watching it grow. Now it's ready to harvest and we have already processed the first batch. The essential oil is 100% pure and made in Australia. We grow, harvest, steam distill, hand pour and pack direct from the farm.

At Stannary Hills Organic Produce we use sheep to graze weeds between the tea tree which helps to provide a productive, sustainable system building fertility, diversity and humus.

Tea tree oil comes from the leaves of melaleuca alternifolia, a small tree native to New South Wales and Queensland, Australia. Although Melaleuca alternifolia is known as the tea tree, it should not be confused with the plant that produces leaves used to make black, green and oolong tea. Tea tree foliage contains a high oil content which is extracted using a finely tuned steam distillation process. The extracted essential oil has gained popularity for use in aromatherapy and anti-bacterial, antifungal and anti-viral remedies.

To deliver the highest potency tea tree oil, we harvest the tea tree plant at just the right time, using seasonal behaviours and characteristics to extract the highest levels of active ingredients. The certified organic tea tree Oil is 100% pure and natural.

Our certified organic Tea tree essential oil is gently steam extracted from freshly cut leaves and stems within our purpose built distillery using low, controlled temperatures during the peak of the season. Tested, and then re-tested to ensure a pure tea tree oil, harnessed from the goodness of uncultivated tea tree plants, bursting with the properties nature intended.
